Plaque for Terry Cottam

On December 22, 2001, a ceremony was held at Carleton University in Ottawa to unveil this plaque in memory of Terry Cottam. 

 
The plaque is installed outside the Ontario Public Interest Research Group (OPIRG-Carleton) office in the Carleton University Unicentre.
The OPIRG office was one of Terry's bases of operation.



Some of Terry's close friends and associates (from left to right): Karen Hawley (OPIRG-Carleton); Jean-Marc Hachey; Elizabeth Smith; Reid Cooper; Corinne Baumgarten (Canadian Friends of Burma) and  Paul Gross. At the ceremony, Karen announced that OPIRG renamed its activist scholarship after Terry.
