Although we live only 250 miles away, like you, we only knew Terry through his tireless work on this [econlets] list. He was always there with thoughtful comment on everything from Y2K to our Toronto Dollar Project. The strange thing is that before your message I took it for granted that he was there, it really didn't occure to me that I had never met him in person.
