I was the Ottawa local co-ordinator for Canadian Crossroads International when Terry was selected in 1988 for a placement in Indonesia. His quiet, dedicated and steady contribution to the work of our committee was appreciated by all. We could always count on him! However, we really discovered Terry when he was in Indonesia, through his letters. Our committee spent a lot of time reflecting on his writing and enjoying the humour and spirit through which he so eloquently described his Indonesian experience. We will miss him greatly,
