I can't remember exactly when I met Terry, but I'm sure it was during his Pepsi boycott. I remember going to demonstrations and seeing his remarkable energy. In fact it seemed that wherever I went Terry was there working tirelessly for his cause. I was always very impressed with his commitment and so I jumped at the opportunity to work on the MAI-Not Campaign with him. Over the years he and I had become great friends and I don't think that I've ever known someone with more energy or drive than him. He made countless sacrifices for the things that he cared about and always managed to maintain a good sense of humour about things. Terry was a rare gem and I know that I will never forget him. I will continue to strive to become as good and dedicated an activist as Terry was.
