Terry's curly head, his quick grin, his eyes twinkling behind his glasses are in my mind's eye as I write this. We worked together for CFOB several years ago. His drive and his talent for quickly writing and laying out flyers gave the organization the edge it needed to focus its policy work and attract other activists. It also appalled some bureaucrats and those who believe progress can be made toward basic human rights for all without offense to the system. He was a man of sharp intellect and great generosity, ready to give his time and love to his beliefs.
A lasting memory I have of him is four of us struggling to hold up one of his huge banners on Bank Street here in Ottawa as cars honked and we tried to engage bemused looking passers-bye. Those were great days Terry ! And they couldn't have happened without you.
